Geoff is one of the founders of Kookaburra and the figurehead of our great organisation. Geoff’s training as an agricultural economist and subsequent spell in Australia were the inspiration behind Kookaburra Ltd and the company has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 1988.

Since achieving a doctorate in food sciences in 1975, Bill has used his understanding and intricate knowledge of all things technical within several major food producers in the UK. Now responsible for delivering the quality ethos that is Kookaburra, Bill has met and overcome the many and varied challenges that commercial constraints place on the production environment whilst maintaining the high industry standards the customer so rightly expects in today’s market place.

With in excess of 5 years in the meat processing industry, after graduating with a B.A (Hons) in Marketing, Gayle harnesses her experience with a natural enthusiasm and energy which transfers into a genuine customer care and commitment focus, whether in retail, manufacturing, foodservice or catering sectors. This allied to a penchant for new product presentations provides Gayle with the ambition to succeed in driving Kookaburra and her customers into business success and expansion in both existing and new markets.

Alison, a graduate with a B Sc (Hons) degree in Food and Nutrition, joins Kookaburra as the company unveils exciting expansion plans in new product ranges linked to facilities improvement. With experience of retail development techniques Alison looks to expand her expertise into alternative areas, such as manufacturing, foodservice and catering sectors whilst maintaining a full retail presence. Alison encompasses the unique capability of bringing forward ideas from conception through development, process control and manufacturing to launch. Being enthusiastic and with a proactive approach in order to germinate ideas enables Alison to support Kookaburra’s drive and ambition.

Finance Director
John has an enviable knowledge of the food sector. In addition to his important role managing the finances at Kookaburra, John is also proactive in marketing, in the development of new products and in market trend analysis. A core member of our board of Directors, John has helped to steer Kookaburra to it’s current position as one of the UK’s market leaders.

After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in food science and nutrition, then achieving an MSc in food technology, Andy honed his technical skills with the largest food manufacturing group in the UK, undertaking an aggressive management training programme. In order to widen his knowledge and expertise still further in a more hands on approach in the production arena, Andy joined Kookaburra and has successfully implemented a modern computerised database, providing ease of technical information access, whilst playing an integral part in the quality driven expansion of the company.

Since leaving full time education and signing up for the Kookaburra extended graduation scheme, Tony has benefited from learning and experiencing all aspects of a modern production facility with a high quality bias and a customer delivery principal. Enjoying a background in computerised accountancy functions, Samantha is known as “Miss Efficiency” and operates at the forefront of customer care, continually liasing with every aspect of company involvement, sales, marketing,technical, production and distribution, including third party hauliers in ensuring the customer receives a quality product to the relevant specification, on time – every time.
